A. Information You Provide

Account Credentials: Mobile phone number, password (where applicable), and One-Time Password (OTP) verification data.
User-Generated Content: Information provided in classified listings including advertisement titles, descriptions, product or service photos, and contact details included in public posts.

B. Automatically Collected Data

Device Metadata: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, and mobile network details.
Performance Metrics: App usage patterns, features accessed, and technical crash reports to ensure platform stability.

2. Device Permissions

To provide core functionality, AdPub requests the following permissions:

Camera: To allow you to take and upload photos of items or services.
Storage / Media: To select and upload images from your device gallery.
Internet Access: To connect with our servers and display real-time listings.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data for the following legitimate purposes:

Identity Verification: To register and authenticate users via mobile number and OTP.
Marketplace Connectivity: To enable the posting of ads and facilitate contact between buyers and sellers.
Platform Maintenance: To monitor app performance and improve the user experience.
Safety & Compliance: To detect fraudulent activities, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. Information may be disclosed only in the following cases:

Third-Party Data Processors: Trusted vendors who assist with hosting, analytics, and technical support.
Legal Obligations: If required by Indian law, court order, or government authority.
Business Transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets.

Under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights:

Right to Correction or Erasure of inaccurate or unnecessary data.

Users may withdraw their consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of personal data at any time by submitting a request through our Data Access Request Form or by contacting us using the details provided in this policy.

Please note that withdrawing consent may limit the availability or functionality of certain features within the App. We will inform you of any consequences associated with the withdrawal of consent.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any data processing carried out prior to the withdrawal or any processing required to comply with legal obligations.

7. Data Deletion and Retention

Retention: We retain your information only as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide services, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

Deletion: You may delete your personal data by:

Using the “Delete Account” option available within the App, or
Submitting a formal request through our Data Access Request Form.

All deletion requests will be processed in accordance with applicable legal obligations and data protection standards.

8. Children’s Privacy

AdPub is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will promptly delete it.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to safeguard your information. However, no method of data transmission over the internet can guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be posted within the App or on our website, and the Effective Date will be revised accordingly. Users are encouraged to review this policy regularly.
